Mr.Fayyaz Qureshi having an excellent academic record and diverse experience resumed full time work with Samdani and Qureshi in 2000, having joined the firm in 1989 initially in a Paralegal capacity before completing the LL.B. at the International Islamic University, Islamabad, Pakistan in 1999. His particular expertise is in financial transactions, international commercial arbitrations and Energy Laws. He possesses the ability to identify and solve areas of potential commercial conflict. His field of research is development and evolution of financial investment products to cater for the potentially large investor base that remains untapped due to ethical investment considerations.

He had been a research fellow at (CEPMLP) University of Dundee, UK, in relation to the establishment of an Islamic Research Centre and has developed a Post Graduate course of study pertaining to commercial and economic issues relevant to international trade concerning the natural resources industry and the settlement of disputes. He has drafted and vetted contracts relating to the commercial sector in banking, construction, engineering, infrastructure, project finance, energy, broadcasting and Information Technology. He also assisted in the re-drafting and amendment of Exploration and Production rules (on-shore and off-shore), Model Petroleum Concession Agreement and Joint Venture Agreements..
